چکیده

Multi-Temporal Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (MT-InSAR) techniques are gaining momentum in the assessment and health monitoring of infrastructure assets. Amongst others, Persistent Scatterers Interferometry (PSI) technique has proven to be viable for long-term evaluation ground scatterers. However, its effectiveness as a routine tool certain critical application areas, such millimetre-scale differential displacements airport runways, is still debated. This research aims demonstrate viability using medium-resolution Copernicus ESA Sentinel-1A (C-Band) SAR products their contribution improve current maintenance strategies case localised foundation settlements runways. To this purpose, “Runway n.3” “Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport” Fiumicino, Rome, Italy was investigated an explanatory study, view historical geotechnical affecting runway area. In context, geostatistical study developed exploratory spatial data analysis interpolation data. The provided ample information on continuity Sentinel 1 comparison with high-resolution COSMO-SkyMed ground-based topographic levelling Furthermore, between PSI outcomes from data—interpolated through Ordinary Kriging—and ground-truth demonstrated high accuracy by values correlation coefficient (r = 0.94), multiple R-squared (R2 0.88) Slope value (0.96). results clearly support continuous paving way development more efficient sustainable inclusion next generation Airport Pavement Management Systems (APMSs).

Deformation monitoring using Sentinel-1 SAR data

This paper describes the data processing and analysis procedure implemented by the authors to analyse Sentinel-1 data. The procedure is an advanced Differential Interferometric SAR (DInSAR) technique that generates deformation maps and time series of deformation from multiple SAR images acquired over the same site. The second part of the paper illustrates the results of the procedure. The first...

Persistent Scatterer Interferometry Using Sentinel-1 Data

This paper is focused on deformation monitoring using a Persistent Scatterer Interferometry technique and the interferometric SAR data acquired by the Sentinel-1 satellite of the European Space Agency. The first part of the paper describes the procedure used to process and analyze Sentinel-1 interferometric SAR data. Two main approaches are described. The first one is a simplified Persistent Sc...

Mine Subsidence Monitoring by JERS-1 SAR Interferometry

Differential SAR Interferometry (D-InSAR) is an effective tool in monitoring land subsidence because of its greater coverage area and better resolution of height change. A series of Japanese Earth Resources Satallite-1 (JERS-1) images from 1992 to 1998 has been used in monitoring the mine subsidence in the test site of this study, one of the important coal mining areas in China. D-InSAR procedu...
